2 months of dailying the N D . Swapped back to stock springs which is a lot more comfy for daily activities and I can actually feel the rear end come loose rather then just snap. Still has Whiteline sway- bars. It’s not as boaty as the reviews suggest with a good alignment as well.

Also gave the bimmer some love and took it to a meet and drive with some bimmer friends. I’m a lucky bloke

Living on shit roads means I am more than happy with the stock suspension. Plus when I goto curvy roads they are shit too. People like me are why the car is “soft”.

The ease of drifting or limit driving  this car tho is amazing.

This is exactly why a Miata is probably in my future at some point.

What other sports cars have a “soft” suspension? I know Porsche reviews always heap praise on how well most of their cars deal with rough roads.

Im still cautious of getting a used car with adaptive suspension too.

My 4-years-used-now-12-years-old car has adaptive suspension.

Probably past due for a refresh... but $$$.

Are those tailights and the roadster badge OEM over there?

No, both aftermarket. The taillights are by Garage Vary

I think we’ll damped suspension is the key. My bimmer has good coilovers and I leave it on the softest setting, it’s way more comfy than stock and gives loads of confidence.

The mx5 had stuff springs with stock shocks and bushings which is always going to be a compromise

Good point.  Automotive podcast I was listening to recently said people go stiff and think its fast.  Keeping the tire on the ground is fast.

Yep Matt Farah from the smoking tire says the same. You can only drive to the limit if your confident
